We use software, including AI tools, to help gather data, monitor public records and filings, summarize documents we have read, and check our own work.
We do not publish AI-generated reporting. Every factual claim in a story is verified by a person against an original source before it publishes. Every article is reviewed and approved by a named editor.
AI is never a source. If a tool surfaces a claim, we go find the record that supports it, and we cite the record. If no record exists, the claim does not run.
We never generate a quotation. Every quoted word in this publication was said or written by the person to whom it is attributed.
When a story relies on an automated dataset or a model, we say so in the story and describe the method, its assumptions and its limits.
If you find something in our work that looks machine-made and wrong, tell us at jon@movewithmomentum.com. That is exactly the kind of error we want reported.
