A brokerage-funded publication has an interest in an active housing market. Pretending otherwise would be the least trustworthy thing we could do. Our answer is structural: every claim is sourced to a record you can open yourself, the relationship is disclosed on any story where it applies, and our corrections are published in public with the original story left standing.
The test we hold ourselves to is whether a story that is bad for our owner's business would run. It is the only test that matters, and it is the one we ask you to hold us to.
We do not accept payment for coverage. We do not accept payment to change or remove a story. We do not sell placement in any ranking, list, or data product. If we ever accept advertising or sponsorship, it will be labeled and it will not be written by this publication.
Market statistics are computed from MLS data licensed by Momentum Realty from Florida multiple listing services, and from public records and government datasets. Every figure names its source, geography, reporting period, and the date we verified it. Per-MLS attribution travels with each figure and is never co-mingled between feeds.
We do not publish automated property valuations.
