Amy grew up primarily in the panhandle and central Florida, and moved to Texas as a young adult to complete a two-year internship with a ministry there. After her internship, Amy relocated to the Northern Virginia area to become a nanny. She later married, started and operated a custom home building company with her husband, and worked as a real estate agent for Keller Williams (KW) in Virginia for seven years.
