Gen Z Might Miss the Housing Train Forever

An entire generation of home buyers is being left behind.

Millennials (29-44 years old) own less than 2/3s of the same pie that boomers held at the same age.

Younger generations are owning less and less real estate due to mass price appreciation and a lack of wage growth. This is pushing off household formation, having kids, and even getting married.

What's in store for these younger generations and how will this influence real estate trends for years to come?

Keeping in mind - the average homebuyer is now 56 years old and first time home buyers are 38 years old -- nearly a decade older in just the last 10 years.
