Worst House Flipper of ALL Time

Anyone remember Opendoor Technologies (OPEN)? Well, the stock tanked from $30 to $1 and now meme stock investors on reddit have done a short squeeze on the stock pushing it above $2.5.

The company wasn’t always the butt of jokes. At one point in 2019, Opendoor entered the Jacksonville market and terrified real estate agents. They were paying crazy prices, charging crazy fees, and creating a horrible buying and selling experience for agents and their customers.

What really happened? Does the company have a future? Why did KW, Redfin, and Zillow — who chased this shiny object flipping business — all shutter their flipping programs?

This video explains it all AND shares data you need to know about flipping houses today in today’s market. Conversation led by myself and Brittany Brooks, who sold 66 properties in her first year and is now, in my biased opinion, the best real estate broker/owner in Florida.
