Momentum Realty Expands to Georgia

Momentum Realty announced today that it has expanded its brokerage operations to the State of Georgia, at the request of its top-producing agents.

Momentum, which launched as a 4-person Jacksonville brokerage in January 2020, is growing at an explosive pace. Since the beginning of 2022, its number of agents has grown 42%, from 132 to 188, and its sales volume has increased by 25%.

“Momentum is now in 16 markets across Florida, and our agents who are located on the border of Florida and Georgia asked me to get a Georgia broker’s license to facilitate their growth,” says Brittany Brooks, Momentum’s Broker/Owner. “Momentum is committed to providing the resources and opportunities that our agents need. And, being a relatively smaller organization, we can move quickly to fulfill our agents’ requests. So, I’m happy to say that, as of June 29th, 2022, we are a licensed Georgia brokerage.”  

The announcement comes as Momentum Realty just closed its strongest month to-date. In May 2022, Momentum’s agents served approximately 170 families for $65M+ in real estate sales volume.

Brittany notes that, ironically, when Momentum was created as a brokerage focused on helping its agents become wealthy, other brokers had warned her that the company was doomed to fail. Instead, it is thriving in this fast-changing market.

 “What I love about this company is that many agents who were making $50,000-100,000 a year when they moved to Momentum, have seen their income double, sometimes climbing to $250,000 or more,” says Jon Brooks, Momentum’s Co-Founder.

“This is proof that Momentum’s productivity environment is working. Its average producing agent now earns approximately $130,000 in commission. That’s more than double what the average agent brings in.”

Jon notes that Momentum regularly brings in top coaches, speakers, and multi-millionaire business owners to share their stories and lessons with the tribe. The objective is to facilitate a growth environment for positive, growth-minded agents. Momentum accepts only experienced, full-time agents; its sister group, Ascend, offers opportunities for new and newer agents who have produced less than twelve sales in the last twelve months.

The results clearly show that this methodology works. The key for Momentum is to partner with top agents who are engaged and want to continue growing.”

Jon points out that the lifestyles of Momentum agents are also improving. “They’re more focused on building a life, not just a job. I’ve seen too many agents stuck in their old ways of thinking, not being as strategic or focused as they could be, and working way harder than they need to. We want to help change that.”

Momentum offers multiple avenues to accelerate wealth building for its top agents. “From phantom stock units, to revenue share and free flyers through its custom Focus Program, to investing in the Ascend Group, Momentum creates opportunities for its agents to invest and grow their wealth,” Jon says. “In fact, next week, in a program with 21 Momentum Champions, it is closing on a 30-unit apartment complex in Birmingham, Alabama.

“And, by the way, this is all using a 100% brokerage fee model, saving some agents $20,000 to $30,000 a year in brokerage splits,” Jon adds. “Momentum is creating opportunity everywhere it can, and its agents are excited and taking advantage of it.”

Co-founding Momentum agent, Michelle Weaver, points out that investment and equity opportunities like Momentum’s are rarely offered by successful companies that are already experiencing rapid growth. “I suspect that any top agent who sees Momentum’s additional opportunity for financial success will re-evaluate whether their current company is financially aligned with them long-term," Michelle says. "There are a lot of options in the marketplace, and Momentum has just become even more attractive for growth-minded agents with high levels of production."

Momentum’s top producers deserve these types of opportunities, Brittany maintains. "We are proud of our top performers, many of whom joined Momentum at $3-4M in sales volume and quickly jumped past $8M within a year. We've even had some agents go from $4M to $20M sales volume in this timeframe, which is incredible to see.”
