KC’s Story Continued-

 In 2016, KC left Mary Kay to take a position as Coordinator of Research Programs and Events with the Public Utility Research Center at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She worked in marketing, as well as vetting and interfacing with energy program applicants, most of whom were mid-and-senior-level management officials from developing nations.

KC made the jump into real estate in 2018, when she became a solo agent with a Keller Williams (KW) brokerage in Gainesville. She quickly earned success in her new field, becoming a member of the KW Associate Leadership Council at the end of her first year, based upon her high sales volume. KC joined Momentum in March 2020, in part to take advantage of its high-level, transparent, and comprehensive training. During the period June 2019 to June 2020, KC completed 11 sales with more than $3, 500,000 in volume. She is based in Gainesville, where her business runs about 30% seller and 70% buyer.

KC is married with two teenagers, and loves family game nights; Dominoes is a favorite. She is actively involved in her children’s extracurriculars, including the Buchholz High School Drama Club Boosters and serving as Club President. She has been a volunteer with literacy programs in the past, and plans to return to that volunteer work when her kids are in college.

We asked KC about her goals and skills as a Momentum Cultural Ambassador Mentor:

Why do you want to be a Cultural Ambassador Mentor?

I want to support agents coming into the brokerage and give my Mentees the support and training to help them get their business to a level they are excited about.

What do you believe is the main value you offer as a Mentor?  

My ability to listen and problem solve.

What are your guiding principles as a Mentor?  

To be a responsive resource in helping others get what they want through providing 5-Star service to their customers.  

What are your goals as a Mentor? 

To mentor no less than 3 people each year to reach 10+ units in production.
