Accessibility Statement
Momentum Realty is committed to making our website accessible and usable for all people, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
Our commitment
We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of movewithmomentum.com and aim to follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards where practical. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finished project. We continue to audit, test, and improve as we build.
What we’ve done
Our site is built with the following accessibility principles in mind:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the site, including modals, forms, sliders, and menus
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Alternative text on meaningful images and decorative-image flagging where appropriate
- Accessible form controls with proper labels and autocomplete attributes
- Modal dialogs with focus trapping, Escape-key dismissal, and return-of-focus on close
- ARIA labels and live regions for interactive components like the brokerage compounding calculator
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting for users who need fewer animations - Skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen-reader users
We have intentionally built accessibility into the underlying code rather than relying on third-party overlay widgets. Overlay tools often conflict with the assistive technology users already have configured (screen readers, voice control, browser zoom) and the accessibility community has documented this widely.
If you need to adjust your experience on our site, your browser and operating system already include strong, customizable tools:
- Text size: Hold
Ctrl(Windows) orCmd(Mac) and press+to zoom in. Our pages reflow gracefully at 200% zoom. - High contrast: Windows has High Contrast Mode under Settings → Ease of Access. macOS has Increase Contrast under System Settings → Accessibility → Display. Both work site-wide.
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (Mac, iOS), NVDA (Windows, free), JAWS (Windows), and TalkBack (Android) all work with our pages. Our code uses semantic HTML, ARIA labels where needed, and focus management throughout.
- Reduced motion: If you have Reduce Motion turned on in your OS, our site automatically disables background video, scroll animations, and transitions.
- Translation: Browser-native translation (Chrome, Edge, Safari) handles 100+ languages and integrates with your other browser tools, unlike a site-specific widget.
Ongoing work
We are working to expand our accessibility coverage across all 290+ agent profile pages and our regional/neighborhood resource library. We welcome feedback that helps us prioritize the next round of improvements.
