How Florida district grades work
FLDOE grades districts and schools A–F annually from a fixed formula: standardized assessment achievement and learning gains, graduation rate, and acceleration success at the high-school level. A grade summarizes performance against that formula — it is one published measure, not a description of any individual school, program or student, and school-level grades within a district vary widely. For enrollment decisions, consult the specific school’s own FLDOE report and the district’s attendance zoning, which changes over time.
