Jon Brooks

Jon Brooks grew up in Falls Church, Virginia — the youngest of three brothers, a kid who played Pokémon competitively and, at age 10, became the World Pokémon Champion by beating a player from Belgium in the finals. It sounds like a footnote. It wasn't. That moment taught him that preparation beats talent, and that any goal he set was reachable if he was willing to outwork everyone else to get there.

"You're either an owner or you're owned."

He graduated Summa Cum Laude in Finance from Virginia Tech, worked at Ernst & Young in Washington D.C., then moved to Jacksonville in 2014 to work in real estate investment banking at Deutsche Bank. In 2015, after a bad experience buying his first home, he quit banking with $80,000 in debt and virtually no savings and went into real estate sales.

Four years later he had sold 143 homes in a single year, spoken on stage at Keller Williams' annual Mega Camp in front of 10,000+ agents, and become one of KW's youngest MAPS coaches. In January 2020, he and Brittany founded Momentum Realty — a brokerage built on the belief that serious agents deserve a better deal.

Today Momentum has 270+ agents, $3.5B+ in closed volume, and a Top 50 ranking in Florida by RealTrends. Jon focuses entirely on teaching, recruiting, and building the systems that let agents grow without the brokerage getting in the way.
