The Complete Atlantic Beach Country Club Guide (2026)

Atlantic Beach Country Club is the only golf community among the Jacksonville Beaches — 178 homes built around a fully renovated 18-hole course, just four blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and minutes from the Beaches Town Center. Created in 2014 from the redevelopment of the historic Selva Marina Country Club, it pairs newer construction (Toll Brothers, Riverside Homes, and custom Glenn Layton homes) with water and golf-course views — a rare combination of golf, newer homes, and walkable beach proximity in Duval County. This guide covers the community and market.

The lifestyle

The 2014 redevelopment delivered a new clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, and a renovated, narrowed 18-hole course (reworked by Erik Larsen, formerly of Arnold Palmer’s design company) with a more natural, dunesy feel — while opening up land for new estate homes. The result is a modern country-club community with newer housing stock, unusual for the Beaches, where most inventory is older cottages and infill. Being four blocks from the ocean and minutes from the Beaches Town Center gives residents golf, club amenities, and a walkable beach-town lifestyle in one address.

Homes & pricing

Atlantic Beach Country Club’s homes are newer than most of the Beaches, built by Toll Brothers and Riverside Homes with custom options through Glenn Layton. Lots run roughly 50–80 feet wide, with many offering golf-course or water views (the premium positions). Because the community is compact at 178 homes, inventory is limited and turnover modest.

Carrying-cost note: budget for HOA dues plus club membership if you join — confirm current Atlantic Beach Country Club initiation and dues directly with the club, as they change.

Schools

Atlantic Beach is in Duval County, served by the Fletcher feeder (Fletcher Middle and High) and area elementary schools. See the Jacksonville Beaches schools guide.

Is Atlantic Beach Country Club right for you?

Strong fit if you want: golf and club amenities, newer construction, water/golf views, and walkable beach proximity in one community.

Maybe look elsewhere if you want: a boat (consider Isle of Palms), oceanfront (consider oceanfront homes), or the most walkable town-center living (consider Neptune Beach).
