Monica Forero

I'm Monica Forero, a Realtor serving Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, including Duval, St. Johns, and Clay counties and Fleming Island. I work with buyers and sellers in English and Spanish.

I earned my bachelor's degree in architecture in Colombia. After moving to the U.S., I worked as an architectural drafter and as a project coordinator in construction. I still look at a house the way I learned to read a floor plan: how the space really works, what could realistically be changed, and what a renovation would involve in time, permits, and coordination. I'm not a home inspector, but that background helps my clients see a property clearly before they commit. For sellers, it means practical advice on which improvements are worth making before you list, and which aren't.

Coordination has been the thread through my whole career. After construction, I worked as a real estate transaction coordinator, the person who keeps contracts, deadlines, and paperwork moving behind the scenes. I know where deals tend to stall, and I keep my clients informed so nothing catches them by surprise.

I bring 12 years of real estate experience from South Florida. I also know firsthand what it's like to relocate here, and I'm getting to know these communities the way I'd want an agent to if they were helping my own family.

My approach is simple: listen first, be honest, and help you make the decision that's right for you, even if that means waiting, or passing on a house that looks perfect on paper.
