Escambia and Santa Rosa sold 14.8% more homes than a year ago and gave up less on price than anywhere else in the state. Florida Realtors still reported the metro's single-family median down 2.1%.
Florida Realtors released July 2026 statewide figures Monday. Both halves of the market sold more homes than a year ago. Only one of them got more expensive.
Method. Monthly medians of closed residential sales for Escambia - Fl, Santa Rosa Counties. The partial current month is excluded rather than plotted short. County-months with fewer than 25 closed sales are dropped. Multi-county figures are an n-weighted average of county medians, which approximates a pooled median but is not one.
