ICI Homes announced that the renovation of the Tom Fazio designed course at Amelia National Golf and Country Club is finished, with the course reopening for play in November 2025 after re-grassing by Fazio Design. The roughly $15 million project added new Bermuda grass on fairways and greens, reshaped bunkers, restored greens to original sizes, and funded a new golf maintenance facility now under construction. The Wildlight community named Ashton Woods, David Weekley Homes, Perry Homes, and Toll Brothers as the first builders for its new Garden District in Yulee, off Riverbluff Parkway about nine miles east of Interstate 95. The first neighborhood, Bellflower, will offer homes on 50, 60, and 70 foot lots, with first model homes expected to open in mid 2026. - July 8, 2025Walmart-sized retail anchor proposed for Shoppes at Yulee off Florida 200. Plans were filed for the Shoppes at Yulee, a nearly 30-acre center proposed off Florida 200 just west of Interstate 95 and anchored by a roughly 175,360 square foot retail store with four outparcels and 701 parking spaces. - June 18, 2025Foxtail Coffee and Bohemian Bull open in Wildlight along Florida 200. Two new dining spots opened in spring 2025 in the Publix-anchored Crossings at Wildlight center off Florida 200 about a mile east of Interstate 95, with Foxtail Coffee Co. opening May 5 and Bohemian Bull opening April 17.
