Community Details at a Glance
West Meadows is a master-planned community in New Tampa, off New Tampa Boulevard in northeast Hillsborough County, developed largely in the 1990s and early 2000s as Area 7 of the Tampa Palms Open Space and Transportation (TPOST) Community Development District. It is organized into about a dozen villages, informally called parcels, blending single-family homes with townhomes and maintenance-free villas, some gated and some ungated, with many homes overlooking ponds or preservation areas. Parcel 4 is one of the established single-family villages. Amenities center on the West Meadows Community Club, with two pools, a fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, a splash pad, a dog park, a playground, and walking trails. It is a homeowners association community with a TPOST CDD assessment on the tax bill, near I-75 and the Bruce B Downs healthcare and retail corridor.
