Jacaranda market snapshot (as of June 15, 2026): the median sale price is about $670K ($306 per sq ft), with homes averaging 32 days on market and 12.0 months of supply, a balanced market (limited data). Based on 3 recent closings in live BeachesMLS data.
Jacaranda is a large golf-course master community in the heart of Plantation, Broward County, organized into many neighborhoods of single-family golf homes, townhomes, and condominiums built primarily between 1970 and 1980. It is centered on the Jacaranda Golf Club, a non-equity, semi-private 36-hole club.
Homes are built along winding waterways and the two championship courses, on lots that vary from about 11,000 to 18,000 square feet with some larger pie-shaped golf-estate lots, in one and two-story models. Because the community is built out and varied, the sub-community, the lot, and condition drive value more than a headline number.
The golf is semi-private and non-equity, so most owners carry the home and choose golf separately, and the club can host public tournaments and outings. That keeps the carrying cost closer to a conventional golf-area neighborhood than a mandatory-membership club.
Diligence is the diligence of a large golf master community: confirm the specific sub-community and its association fee and what it covers, the rules and any rental restrictions (and Florida's condo rules on qualifying condo buildings), the condition and systems of a 1970s or 1980s home, and the lot. Price by sub-community, lot, and condition, not by the Jacaranda name.
