Community Details at a Glance
Oldsmar is an established town on the north shore of Old Tampa Bay in northern Pinellas County, founded in 1916 by automobile pioneer R.E. Olds, who envisioned a city of one hundred thousand. The historic core is the original platted town center, with a 1918 Mediterranean Revival bank building still downtown. It is predominantly older single-family homes, generally with no mandatory HOA and no CDD. The town sits about twenty minutes from Tampa International Airport, with R.E. Olds Park, the Mobbly Bayou preserve, the Oldsmar sports complex, and a BMX supercross track anchoring local recreation.
