What does this mean for buyers and sellers?

Buyers shopping under $400,000 for a house are competing for a small pool that turns over quickly, especially in central St. Petersburg, Largo, Dunedin and Clearwater's 33756. An inspection that checks roof age, electrical panels and plumbing on a pre-1960 house is part of the budget, and insurance quotes before the offer deadline help. Sellers in this tier are pricing against recent contracts rather than a long list of competing houses. The Pinellas County property tax calculator estimates a buyer's new tax bill, and monthly pace is in our Stellar Market Pulse.
